Pluto’s Trek Amplifies the Age of Aquarius

Pluto’s transition from Capricorn to Aquarius marks the dawn of a transformative 20-year era that promises to revolutionize humanity’s relationship with technology, power, and progress. As the planets shift, so do we—individually and collectively—reflecting the ever-evolving celestial dance above.

This blog is the first of  Pluto’s Aquarian Revolution series, which explores how this robust transit will reshape our lives and society. Already immersed in the Age of Aquarius, today’s world faces challenges and opportunities that are profoundly different from those of the 1770s when Pluto last journeyed through Aquarius. Join us as we dive into three key ideas that define this cosmic event: scientific innovation, personal and collective transformation, and the striking differences between the past and present.

In astrology, everything is broken down into cycles. The age of Aquarius, a 2000-year cycle with a gestational period of approximately 100-200 years, is shrouded in mystery and anticipation. Many astrologers agree that the conception of the age of Aquarius was in the 1960s, a time when the earth’s population witnessed the original and unique emergence of the hippy days.

The age of Pisces, a significant era in history, was preceded by the emphasis on the invisible becoming visible and the invention of the telescope and microscope. The spreading of Christianity made it the number one religion in the world, with billions of followers. The themes of Pisces weave a tapestry of compassion, mysticism, isolation, hypnosis, imagination, chaos, escapism, and the unknown. At the beginning of the Piscean age, the modern ruling planet of Neptune was yet to be discovered. Jupiter is the traditional ruling planet of Pisces. In ancient times, only the visible planets were used, which makes sense. We can easily track the Piscean highlights of the last 2000 years because the past is hindsight.

Many astrologers have been speculating what the onset of the Aquarian age will bring. No one came close to what has emerged in the first twenty-plus years. There are 80 generations in an age, based on the average age of a generation, currently twenty-five years. It makes you think of the long list of generations in the Bible, citing the generations of the age. The church also uses the word ages numerous times. The Nicene Creed ends with, “I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come.”

Why is Pluto’s current journey so powerful? Remember we talked about cycles? Astrology is all about cycles. The slower the cycle, the more impactful the energy of the cycling planet. As the universe expands, so does the study of astrology. Many modern astrologers are incorporating Algol, a star that moves one degree in 72 years, making the cycle 2160 years. That cycle is longer than an age. As we move through the next 20 years of Pluto’s cycle in Aquarius, we are on the brink of a monumental transformation. We can’t speculate, but we can understand the frequencies and energies of the planets and the signs they are in, added to the complexity of the geometric relationships with other planets, abstract points, and angles.

Pluto’s journey through Aquarius heralds a future beyond imagination. From groundbreaking innovations to restructuring societal systems, this 20-year transit invites us to embrace transformation at every level. Unlike the revolutions of the 18th century, today’s changes are fueled by the progressive energy of the Age of Aquarius, challenging us to evolve in alignment with global interconnectedness and technological advances.

As we navigate this era, the question is not whether we’ll be affected but how we’ll rise to meet its challenges and opportunities. Stay tuned to Pluto’s Aquarian Revolution as we continue unpacking this extraordinary cosmic shift, offering insights to help you align with its transformative power.
