The spring equinox is the astrological new year, which is the beginning of Aries, 0º.  Think of zodiac signs as energies or frequencies; for example, Aries is newness.  How do you feel when you get something new?  You feel happy, excited, and can’t wait to show it off.  That excitement and enthusiasm are keywords for fire.  Aries is a fire sign; it’s a cardinal fire sign, meaning it initiates, starts, and projects.  Think of a bullet, a weapon, like a sharp object, that cuts and burns.
